glass ball

There were some glass balls at the coast of Nemuro, Hokkaido. In the past, they were used fishing but they have been replaced in recent years by plastic ones. My husband and I picked up the glass balls and brought them to my house. I crocheted around it like the net.

And it displayed at the restroom in my house now.

北海道の根室の海岸には、昔漁業で使われていたガラスの浮き球がころがっています。残念ながら今はプラスチックになってしまい現役ではありません。このガラス玉を拾ってきて洗って、外側を編みつけてみました。トイレに飾ってあります。

Crocheted Ring

An idea of a crocheted ring suddenly came up to me. Soon after that, I tried to crochet it. I did a good job than I had expected.

突然、クロッシェで指輪を作れないか？と思い立ちました。適当に作ってみたのがこれです。もしゃもしゃしていてイソギンチャクの様で結構お気に入りです。

Colorful coaster

Crocheted coaster. It took only within thirty minutes. The pattern is made up of only single crochet stitches.

They are for my friend and me. In English, what do we call these? Scrunchies? It's been a long time since I crocheted because I'm into knitting these days.

I hope to read patterns in English and to show the patterns someday.

a flower on my iMac

I made a motif of a flower and put it on my iMac. You could see the figure of the flower when the Mac goes standby. This is the first time for me to upload a movie.

crocheted iPod case

This is the new case of my iPod shuffle. Some good CDs were at the HMV Shibuya and I bought them last weekend. I'd like to carry the songs with my iPod and the case.

The crochet workshop was held at Tabera on the weekend. Shizuka sensei showed me some great works as always and the freestyle crochet inspired creativity. I wanted to try them.

And this. My friend lent me a book of Irish crochet lace. There are full of lovely works in it. Thanks for this book I found how to put the motifs together.

The motifs became my scarf. Linen yarns are a bit scratchy but will have a soft touch.

And this. A three-leaf clover is for my friend. I found this motif in the book,"motif & edging designs".
