Obi purse

I got a secondhand obi at an antique shop near my house and I made a little purse with the obi material.

 
Obis are so long. It is about 4m long. Almost all the material is still remaining.

accessory pocket

 An accessory pocket is ready to give a friend of mine. It was embroidered with "H", her initial.

Cotton gauze by Naomi Ito is inside.

The bag is so tiny and the obversion was complicated! But I think I did rather well.

Room shoes

I usually ware lovely room shoes made of wool but recently I feel hot with them a bit. Because of this the new room shoes came here.



The round white felts were put on the bottom of the shoes as the slip stopper.



I bought the cloth at Ho Chi Minh City. There were excellent clothes at the city and I hoped I went back to Tokyo with all the clothes!

my black skirt

Here it is, the first skirt I made on the sewing machine this winter. The pattern is from M pattern laboratory as usual. The asymmetry form suits me.
The cut of cloth was given by an acquaintance and I wanted to finish it up during the winter. Phew.

Holga 120N

At last I got the Holga 120N, a Chinese "toy" camera, that I wanted for a long time.

Soon I sewed the cover and put the camera on it. The little tripod stand and the cable releases used for long exposures are in the little bag in front of the camera.

This camera is for 120 films, but I forced a 35mm film into it. I heard that you could take some interesting photos (like these) in this way.

Remake

I remade a men's sweat shirt into mine.

I cut it out and sewed it. It got from one of my favorite patterns from M Pattern Laboratory. (well..It seems to be now sold out)

My husband received the shirt few days ago but It doesn't suit him very much. I am going to ware it from next spring! 

a pen and a note

I made a felt pen holder and put it up on the wall. It is useful! I can write something down before I forget.

a skirt

I finished a skirt. With a new serger I made it easily to sew a hem. I like this pattern from check and stripe, a cloth and pattern shop from Japan. This is a first time to get a pattern from the shop for me and it suits me.

a dog

This lovely illustration was drowned by my colleague. It is posted his blog, "Rakugaki Diary".

I also did embroidery on other clothes. Doing embroidery litte flowers is easy and they are cute! I like it.

K for what?

I found a good embroidery book at a book shop near my house by chance and I bought it. With the book I did embroidery of my initial on the handkerchief.  Doing embroidery is fun!
